Casino Question

Our first time cruise is coming up on the Carnival Freedom in April and me and my mom are interested in gambling but just a little bit. I heard that your gambling money comes from your sail and sign card. But - my question is do you determine how much to put on machine to play or do you just play and not know how much you are spending? Thx so much!!

You must set up a pin code first before you play. You can put $ in the machines, any amount. When you are finished, you "cash out" to your card. You can go to the cashier's cage & cash out. They will give you the $ that is on your card. Or you can leave it on your card & download it to another machine at any time during the cruise & cash out at the end. The staff will help you.

I would ask this on the Carnival forum:

You can also use cash in the casino not just your S&S. But you do want to put your S&S in the machine and set up a pin because that's the only way to cash out when you're done playing or want to go to another machine. The casino hosts can help you to set up your player's bank with your card.

As mentioned you set up an account and you can bet whatever amounts you want, perhaps cash would be easier.

if you are playing machines, you can put in cash. If you win, then you will put the balance on your ship card and take it to the cage to get cash.

If you play table games, same thing. You can get chips with cash and if you have some left, take them to the cage to cash out.

If you don't want to use cash, you can use your card to get money. It will not take money out automatically. You need to specify the amount and confirm it.

Good luck
