Adventure of Seas - Port Side Cabin Better?

Which side is better for seeing land when we get to shore. The customer service agent suggested we move to a port side cabin. I thought this varied depending on the island.

 

We are the only ship in port on each stop according to cruise time table. April 16th Sailing if that makes any difference.

I'm doing a B2B in early May on Adventure and opted for a portside hump....We usually always do a portside in the caribbean JMHO.

It depends on the approach to the harbor and which way the pilot decides to dock the ship, either head in or backed in.

On the Barbados route, starboard side was the best [emoji106] for seeing land in port = Captain backed in.

I asked the captain about this on our last cruise during Q&A. As Bob stated, unpredictable.

I always book us Portside, and go up on deck to 5 or the upper pool deck to watch us come in and take my pictures since it varies as everyone has said.

If you are going from St Johns Antigua to Castries St Lucia ship sails coastline of St Lucia towards Pitons & on Port side you have views of Pitons. As previously stated docking at any port is random.
