New cancellation policy

Actually, after thinking about it, a price drop is not the most important thing, cancellation is. If RCI says via its web site, invoice and the TA that final payment is 75 days, but the internal system that actually processes payments still expects it at 90 days, it may cancel the booking!!!!

 

Like I said made my Nov booking 2 weeks ago, 11 nite on Serenade. They accepted my down payment. Never got anything until reminder full payment coming due couple days before the 75 days. But who knows, someone else might not...

Has anyone booked recently had something other than 90 days out final payment date?

 

For the 12/12 Serenade sailing, both the Royal web site when booking online and my TA insist the final payment date is 9/28 (which is 75 days).

 

Serenade cruise 11/21, final payment 9/6, but we booked it year ago, before the change. Does it apply to all bookings or just bookings after March?

 

Also price drops on this cruise. When we booked, no GS or JS were available. We found one the became available back in August. Now, a few days after final payment, at least 4 GS open, as are 2 OS and the RS is now open???

Any booking for a sailing of 5 days or longer made after March 6 is supposed to have a 90 day final payment deadline.

Thanks, the prices for suites are less than at the time we booked. Almost nearly as good a price as I got from Club Royale after we booked.

Yes, both the 11/21 and 12/12 sailings have had substantial price drops.

For some suites, as much as ~ $3000 for a GS....

Some Cabins are less than $64 a day, pp, for a nice 11 day cruise.
