Transportation to POM

We t on the eclipse this weekend and looking for a good transportation service from a Miami airport hotel to the port. Any recommendations?

I would just take a taxi.

 

Or possibly Uber.

Check with your hotel first, as many have regular shuttle service, and don't forget about the traffic issues this weekend.

I would second the option to Uber or just take a Taxi.

 

If you wanted a black car you can still do that through Uber and you don't have to hassle with prearranging transportation. We are never fans of the shuttles.

Normally would just use hotel shuttle but with the traffic issues this weekend I don't want to risk it since the hotel shuttles don't start until noon

Cab. Easy and on YOUR schedule. You might even find someone waiting to share your cab if room.

On the other hand, they are inexpensive and we have yet to have any issues with them after countless rides to and from airports and sea ports. The OP now says that her hotel's shuttles don't start until noon, in which case I'd recommend Uber or taxi.

Our hotel shuttle, for two people, was more than twice as expensive as a taxi. And we didn't have to wait for it to fill up!

The Ultra Music Festival starts at 12:30, most traffic, if there is much, will be prior to that. I wouldn't be too worried about it overall - depending on where you're staying in Miami...
