Complimentary Dinner Reservations?

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed - I promise I did search! This is our first NCL cruise. I thought reservations were not allowed at complimentary restaurants, but I see them as an option on my cruise planner on NCL. So do I need to make reservations for dinner? I'd prefer to just go when I feel like it.

They are possible but they prefer that they are only made for larger groups as the MDRs have plenty of places for small numbers.

You can now make reservations online. MDR will give preference to people with reservations.

You don't need reservations, and it's very unlikely you'll ever have a wait. The reservations are there mostly as a convenience for large groups and for people coming from other lines who feel better knowing they always have a set dining time.

yes, don't Need the make a Reservation. The Advantage of cruising with NCL is that you can have Dinner whenever you are up to.

You might get online now. We couldn't get reservations for the steak house and could only get in the hibachi after 9:30. Someone mentioned to get online because there are so many people in this ship.

Thanks so much for the quick responses. I think we will just see how it goes when we get on board. I'm looking forward to not having a scheduled dinner time!
