This is very subjective, because it depends on the perks one gets without being in a suite. We love the JS and love the mid-hump location, so would not move to a GS, even if it was free. Might go to the OS for a couple of hundred just to get that inside dining table.

I kind of have the same thought on the GS. I had a hump JS on Allure and really liked it.

Plus, if you are already D or above, you're getting the lounge benefit that a full suite would get, so that may change the math a bit. However, the full suite would get breakfast and lunch access to Coastal Kitchen.

We were offered an upsell on a 5 day cruise last year from a JS to a GL for $400. We declined. We are D+ so already had CL access. This was on the Explorer.

 

I "might" have taken it at $200
