the admiral12 Posted March 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2016 I am leaving the royal princess in st thomas, before the end of the cruise, with prior permission. Now they are saying I have to leave the ship at 645am even though it is in port until 530p and my flight leaves at 6p. Any ideas on how to stay on board later in the day? Is this normal? Yes, it is normal. Your disembarkation includes being processed by local immigration and customs personnel. Apparently, 6:45 AM is when they are available. Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted March 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2016 They are making special arrangements for you, so you really have to go with whatever they tell you. It's probably because they have to orchestrate customs and can't have the customs agent standing around waiting. It wouldn't hurt to ask for a different time, though. Maybe it would be easy to switch. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Yes, this is normal because that is the only time they likely could obtain from the immigration/customs personnel. Keith
