Not only do you get the pleasure of watching the other passengers disembark at the turn-around but we also really enjoy being excused from the lifeboat drill on the second leg of the cruise.

Now if there were only some quiet place to sit & not have to listen to that annoying announcement. :p

(The balcony isn't to bad) :D

When deciding whether to book as 2 separate cruises or one longer cruise, first check to see if the longer one is priced a little lower than the 2 separate ones. Then, if you're eligible for the military credit, take a look at it. If booked as one, you may only get $250 (14 nights or longer). If you book as 2 separate, you'll get an extra $100 for the second cruise.

You need to look at all the OBC. This includes the military credit, plus shareholder, FCC and loyalty.

Obviously, not everyone is eligible for all of them.

And hoping that the cutoff number is low enough to make the Capt luncheon. ;)

Yeah, but that does not impact the cost of the trip or affect which way to book. On our last trip, we booked it as 20 days. Could have been two ten day cruises. Got invited to both MTP luncheons.
