Refrigerator Oasis

Recommended Posts

I am assuming that the refrigerator is stocked and you get billed if anything is removed.

Can we ask our steward to clean it out so we can keep things in it?

Thank you

Yes, everything in the mini-fridge is for sale.

You can ask the room steward to remove the items, but they may say they are not allowed. If we need the room, we take out the items ourselves and leave a note as to where we have put them.

Thanks, I know when we were on the Breakaway, we HAD to have the steward remove everything or we would be charged for removing even if we just put it on the shelf or wherever for the week and didn't consume it. One year they put it in the footstool that had storage in it and another year in a bag, in our closet.

The bar staff is in charge of the mini-fridge contents now so the steward cannot empty it for you. Just empty yourself and leave a note where the contents are so you don't get charged.

On Adventure last December, we asked our Steward and he told us HE had to remove the items. Later, when we were putting our suitcases under the bed we saw a garbage bag with the items in there.

Not sure if this will apply to other ships as a change in policy but just got off Adventure and the refrigerator was empty upon our arrival and not stocked at all during the week, other than with our RCI gift wine / beer put in by our Stateroom Attendant and our purchased wine added by us. But none of the typical stock RCI items were present.
