Looking for ideas on where to stay pre and post cruise for the carnival conquest leaving from Fort Lauderdale. Preferably on the beach and close to restaurants? I have never been there and im curious where others have stayed.

On the beach may not be close to restaurants. Are you wanting to walk or will you have a car? What time of year? Hotel rates skyrocket during high season.

I like the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel but not sure if that is in your price range.
