Ok , looking at stingray city tour...there is one called "deluxe". 59.00. The other is 49.00 dollars. Called RCCL, no help there!

I know marineland tours does the DELUXE version,

 

Does anyone have any input here? Please.

I'd recommend checking these guys out.

Private company who we have gone through a couple of times. Instead of having 100 people on a boat thru the cruise line,,, you'll have maybe 10.

We used Native Way Watersports on our last trip to Grand Cayman. They were wonderful. Cheaper than the cruise line, 12-15 people max on our boat, private guide. At the stingray part, we were nearby the cruise line tours which were crammed full, but had much more time to interact and freedom to move around.

Another vote for Native Way Watersports. Just booked with them for a 2nd time because we had such a good time the 1st time! Smaller groups so you get more individual time plus cheaper! What more could you ask for? Oh, a friendly/helpful guide? That was included too!

Grand Cayman is one of the ports where I MOST recommend using a private tour operator.

 

The others have recommended Captain Marvin's and Nativeway - both highly regarded operators.

 

I LOVE http://www.stingraysailing.com Always a small group, very personal - it's a husband & wife team with a few employees. WONDERFUL way to spend the day.

 

Check out the Ports of Call board for Grand Cayman. Forget Royal Caribbean's excursions.

I second this recommendation!!! WONDERFUL private company to deal with. Probably one of my all time favorite excursions.

 

The different between deluxe and other option may be only having the Stingray experience vs. Stingray experience along with separate snorkeling spot. Something like that...?

We book whatever works best for us with the times we want and amenities. That's often private and sometimes ship excursions. We did the deluxe tour through Navigator in October. It was perfect. It wasn't crowded. We spent a lot of time with the rays and our guide was amazing. I loved the boat we went out on. It was a great tour and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Loved them. They have a nice catamaran that holds about 20+ if I remember correctly.

 

Have also used Native Way. Would recommend either but liked stingray sailing the best.
