You can send for a visitor guide from the town web site, but it's also available on-line. Info about sights, activities, excursions, vendors, maps, etc

I did a quick perusal of the Juneau visitor guide and, without reading it closely, it does appear to be the one published by the Juneau Empire, which is the newspaper in our capital city. It is a good guide and I hope that the Empire has received credit for it.

The other excellent resource for Fairbanks and the interior of Alaska is the visitor's guide published by the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, which is also available on the News-Miner website (http://www.newsminer.com)

I don't do well with computer searches, etc. How do I find the visitor guide on the Fairbanks site? Maybe I'm just not seeing the link once on the site Thanks for the help.
