PRIDE Posted April 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Do you see people on the ship on embarkation day with Rolling/Wheeled Carry-On luggage? How large is the security scanner - what is the largest bag that you have seen go through it? After reading reviews my bags could arrive pretty late and there are several things I prefer to have in my possession. Example: extra clothes for 3 people, all my toiletries, a couple of things. Thanks in advance.
GTO-Girl Posted April 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) It needs to fit through the scanner like the airport, so you are limited to carryon, back packs, duffels, etc. Anything that has any chance of bursting I put in my carryon. As far as the checked luggage....they stack this luggage to the max so if yours is on bottom of the pile you will definately run the risk of having something burst....:eek::eek: We have been fortunate to have our luggage most times dinner so we are willing to wait. Have a wonderful cruise!! Edited April 2, 2016 by GTO-Girl
sbbquilter Posted April 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Our standard 22" roller board fits fine - I imagine an oversize duffle style that some folks try to carry on might be a problem. I love having my baggage with me, we are unpacked and on vacation within 10" of getting into our cabin.

Rare Keith1010 Posted April 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2016 As mentioned use luggage that you would to fit through the airport scanner. Have a great cruise. Keith
Ashland Posted April 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Yes, make sure it's small enough to go through an airport type scanner. We've seen several people hold up the line by having a bag too large...the staff there will take your bag, tag it and add it to the port checked bags...but not a good thing to hold up the line...and it actually could delay your bag being delivered to your cabin.
