Unlimited Passport Collection

I hope that I can ask this question correctly or that you guys can figure out what I am trying to ask:

I have chosen all of our excursions for our cruise. We are sailing to the Middle East, so I am choosing O excursions instead of private ones (No haters please :) ), for security reasons. I cannot figure out how to "sign up" for the Unlimited Passport Collection.

I am over the minimum dollar amount by about $70, but I am being charged the amount for YW.

What can I do?? Thank you for your help.

You can book them through the phone. However the last time we used/considered this it was not a $$$ amount but you had do a minimum number of. Like on a 12 day cruise a minimum of 7 per person.

I did this myself online through Oceania's website and ended up with a $700 credit. I had booked my first 10 excursions and their online system did not adjust the cost. I then booked one more at the full price and then added three more at a different time. The price never went down so I called Oceania (and I do have a TA) and they manually adjusted the price. It worked out that my last three I didn't have to pay any more. Bottom line just phone Oceania directly and get them to do it. For some reason their online excursion system does not work properly.

Thanks, everyone for the advice. I ended up calling O since my TA does not work on Fridays and Saturdays. Anyway, the rep was very helpful and explained how the different pricings work. She did the math and also suggested a way to save an additional $400 on top of the 25 percent with the Your Way pricing.

I don't know if I would have gotten the same results with the TA since he works with all cruise lines and might not have suggested the extra savings. So this will be my new way to book excursions---via a live human!!

Really hope that you learned that your TA is fairly useless. While some TA's are great for some trip, if they have not booked several cruises on Oceania, they cannot help you. While I find calling Oceania to be a second choice (my first choice is a TA that regularly books Oceania as they are a wealth of information), it is better to call Oceania than to have a useless TA.

P.S. I am astounded that you have a TA that does not work on Fridays.

It is very hard to find a good TA when you don't know of any. That will be my number one priority when on my first Oceania cruise in August - to finally find out who are the number one travel agents.:)
