We sailed her around Australia and up to Fiji a few years ago and had a wonderful time. Hope you do too.

Sailed on Dawn from Perth around the top and down to Sydney last Aug/Sept. Fun cruise. Great ports. Ship is fine.

The ship will be full of Aussies and Kiwis. Should be a lot of fun!

On the Sun, Sea and Dawn Princess, cabins have Australian power points and 240 volt electricity.

Dawn also had 3 US style plugs, at least in our suite. Bathroom, living room, and oddly, front entry way.

Sailed on the Dawn in January. She's a lovely old style ship - think the original Love Boat - with enclosed baconies like cosy cocoons. Cabins are a little smaller than on the bigger ships but adequate. The public areas are beautiful and there's plenty of seating to enjoy the afternoon and evening music. We enjoyed being in Crooners Bar for the afternoon recitals. The mezzanine pizzeria, La Prego, is wonderful for lunch or dinner. You'll have a wonderful holiday on the Dawn.

The Dawn Princess only has Traditional Dining 5.30pm and 7.45pm. Choose wisely.

Lovely, older ship, quite compact compared to newer ships. She is leaving Princess and going to P& O Australia as the Explorer.
