Tendered ports

I have searched through boards already but couldn't see anything spring out at me so here goes my query.

 

First time cruisers, RCI, navigator or the seas, Mediterranean summer cruise. I have booked my excursions with another company. I am concerned that in Nice, it is a tendered port and am conscious of missing my excursion. I have contacted the company directly and they say it won't be a problem however how long, typically will it take to get to shore on a tendered port. I know that RCI booked excursions go off first but any tips or reassurance for getting off the ship in time for my excursion would be greatly recieved.

I'm sure this company deals with this daily and yes they will wait for you as they said. Go to RCI boards to further inquire about the process and typical wait times
