antarctic penguin Posted April 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2016 We will have a port stop in Corfu in Sept. 2016 but not finding any posts about this port. Anyone know anything about Corfu......what to see and do during a 5 1/2 hr. stop there? Any suggestions or information would be much appreciated. Thanks. KirkNC Posted April 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2016 This should give you a good start: http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/newport.cfm?ID=176 Be sure to check out the "Info" and "Things to Do" tabs.
Rare dronnygirl Posted April 19, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2016 Corfu is a beautiful island. You can walk from the ship into Corfu town where there are shops and bars. There are some lovely beaches on Corfu but not near the town, the nearest is probably Glyfada which is about an hours drive. The best beaches are in the north west at San Stefanos and Arilas. You may want to take a taxi trip around the island.

Putterdude Posted June 20, 2016 #11 Share Posted June 20, 2016 We have used Corfu Taxi Tours and found them excellent. If Spiros is booked he will put you with another English speaking driver. http://www.corfutaxitours.com/index.htm#xl_anchor_start
