3 Cruises in 2016 :)

Recommended Posts

I started the year off right…with a CRUISE on Jan. 3 with my sister. We had an amazing time on the Splendor. I swore I would do a review, but haven't had the time…and now I'm afraid it may be too late. We ended up getting a bounce back offer from the casino, so I'm taking my 23 yr. old daughter on the Sensation in June. Woo Hoo! Can't wait!!! Then just yesterday, my husband and I decided to book the Conquest for August. I'm so freaking excited! I could cruise anytime…anywhere! This is the LIFE! Who's with me?

You are very lucky! Even if we could afford to cruise more often then every 3-5 years or so, my husband wouldn't want to do it. He has had enough of the Caribbean, although we're taking all of our kids and grandkids to the Bahamas because most of us can drive easily to Charleston, and it's all about the destination for him. I think I will be able to get him to do an Alaskan cruise. Hope we can do it before the glaciers all melt. ;)

Enjoy your cruises and come back and tell us all about them.

Good for you!! We've got 2 scheduled this year, and didn't expect either! LOL! We hadn't cruised in almost 10 years because of some personal issues. So we finally went this past fall and remembered why we loved it so much. We have gone with other couples each time, which is nice too.

Our Alaska one will be the first without another couple though. But we're super excited about it, different than the others we've done so far. We were getting ready to book it when our friends called and said "Hey, wanna go again in November!?" You bet!!! :D

Congrats and good for you! We're planning 2 for 2017 but haven't booked the fall one yet, but June 2017 will be our 2nd time on the Vista, we board her in 43 days for our first Carnival cruise!

Thats wonderful! Some years we also take three cruises but at least two a year, the only reason when we don't take three cruises is because we have other type vacations booked, for instance, early March we were on a land based vacation, april we be on the Magic, end of May into June we are going to northern and southern California, July we are visiting friends and family in NY, August we are spending two weeks in Aruba and then we have a cruise the end of the year....but my favorite years are three cruises so enjoy!

We always get the free casino cruises most of the time can' take them because we have our trips booked up for the year, I bet we get one of those "freebies"next month on the Magic, I just may get my third and take it the first week in december. LOL

2016 will be the first time I have cruised three times in one year. We cruised in January, but I ended up spending the trip in medical hooked up to an IV. To make up for that bit of disappointment, we booked a quickie Bahamas cruise in a few weeks. And then looking forward to Alaska in August.

I hope you have a ton of fun cruising!

Already been on 3 this year. Splendor in January, Sunshine in March and Breeze in April. In May we go to Alaska on Celebrity Solstice and then I have Splendor booked for August and October. Now i'm waiting for the Ultra Premier offers to come out for November/December. Oh yeah, then I have a transatlantic booked for April of next year.

I'm dying of jealousy over here . . .

I'd be happy (or happier) with one cruise a year. Maybe my DH will get the cruise bug after his first in September! I'm already thinking about booking one for next March, but am looking for someone to cruise with me (won't be DH because he'll be skiing). Sadly, my mom doesn't want to go . . .

If you want to brag about it......then here it is:

Carnival Magic October 2015

Carnival Magic - November 2015

Celebrity Summit - December 2015

Carnival Glory Journeys, 21 day B2B Jan & Feb 2016

Costa Rica Westin Conchal 2 week land Feb 2016

Carnival Conquest April 2016

Palm Springs Ca, April May 2016

NCL Breakaway May/June 2016

Playa Del Carmen 2 weeks August 2016

Costa Rica Westin Conchal Sept 2016

NCL Breakaway 14 days Jan 2017.

Looks like I have some time to fill Oct to Dec later on this year.

And I'm sure that someone else can outdo my schedule.

We took our very first cruise in 2007. We have a total of 17 on Carnival and just one on RC, and are booked for 2 more this year. So I guess our average is just over 2 a year. Last year we did 4 B2B for a total of 28 days on board. This year our B2B is just 21 days. But I could live on a cruise ship if my grand children could be with us!

Very cool! We cruised 3 times in the last year (more typically it 2 times a year) and our last cruise was a few months ago in January, our next booked cruise is in December on the Magic. Too much time in-between so looking at "filler" cruise again in August before school starts. Too easy to drive to the east coast ports not to do it if I find something that works for us.
