Raxter54 Posted May 13, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 13, 2016 We had a port side balcony (8260) for our Dream cruise. We were able to watch the traffic on the river before departure, then a great view of the French Quarter on the way downriver.

HappyValley3 Posted May 14, 2016 #12 Share Posted May 14, 2016 (edited) Happy that you had a great deal offered. I never get good VIP deals like this! Are the deals the same for everyone? :) Do you need to actually call them or book on line? Edited May 14, 2016 by HappyValley3
ccdaniel2707 Posted May 14, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted May 14, 2016 Happy that you had a great deal offered. I never get good VIP deals like this! Are the deals the same for everyone? :) Do you need to actually call them or book on line? I don't think they are the same for everyone. I think it really depends on how much time and money you spend in the casino. We got a balcony on a 7 day cruise in Oct of 2014 for $200 per person. I'm not complaining about this one though cause it's still a great price for a balcony. I believe you can book online as well. Carnival called me though. coevan Posted May 15, 2016 #15 Share Posted May 15, 2016 I have to be honest, I have never heard of a $450 balcony. Tell me about this pack and play? If I could find a $450 balcony I would book it now for cash.

If I could find a $450 balcony I would book it now for cash. It's a casino offer. Any offers Carnival gives you are under your VIFP offers under the "manage" tab on the carnival website. toosaxykk Posted May 17, 2016 #17 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Does anyone know of a GOOD hotel in NOLA that offers a Park and Cruise offer. We have stayed in a REALLY BAD hotel the previous 2 times we have sailed out of NOLA and I am hoping there are some great hotels out there that offer this unique feature! Thanks! Kechin Yer Eye Posted May 17, 2016 #19 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Does anyone know of a GOOD hotel in NOLA that offers a Park and Cruise offer. We have stayed in a REALLY BAD hotel the previous 2 times we have sailed out of NOLA and I am hoping there are some great hotels out there that offer this unique feature! Thanks! Last fall and also in 2013 we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Metairie LA about half way between the airport & the port. They offer .....free airport shuttle, free shuttle to cruise port as well as free parking during your cruise. They went thru a remodel 2015, so things are fairly well kept. There is a K-Mart right behind the hotel that you can walk to for cheap sodas and anything you might have forgot. They also had a wonderful free breakfast in the mornings.....not just donuts & coffee but real food. There is also a Acme Oyster House right next door, so a good place to eat close by. We really liked this hotel. Not a 5 star Hotel by any means, but clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff has always went out of their way to take care of anything we might have needed or asked for. I am hoping that the place I found for our cruise this fall out of Galveston is as great as the Country Inn & Suites in Metairie. :)
