CARNIVAL VISTA INAUGURAL - Sea Trek III: The Search For Pasta

WELCOME TO CRETE

Our call on the Island of Crete was perhaps the best and the most surprising port of this cruise. Not because of the exceptional sights, history, and of course cuisine, but just how we discovered it all. Like our other excursions during this cruise this one was a private one that included a total of 8 persons.

Our guide "Lefty" provided us with an incredible experience that included many stops along the way in the town of Heraklion and throughout the countryside and lunch at a very non-tourist restaurant that was just exceptional.

VALLETTA , MALTA

We arrived at the Port of Valletta, Malta as the very first Carnival Funship to ever call on this exciting port. Here again we traveled in a small private group giving us ample time to survey this Island Nation of the Maltese Cross.

BEFORE DINNER DRINK

Generally speaking we would often stop off at the Atrium/Lobby Bar and order a drink and then brink it with us to the table. This night was the second Elegant Night and we ordered none other than a Captain Carnival Cosmo.

Do you ever order a drink and bring it to the table?

CRUISE T-SHIRTS

We usually make a T-shirt that commemorates "special" cruise events such as anniversaries, birthdays and such and this one was no exception.

The only problem was that Izmir, Turkey was scrapped a few weeks before we sailed for another FD@S until it was announced that we would call on Kotor, Montenegro just a few days before we sailed.

Oh well.

Do you make "Special" Cruise T-shirts?

CIAO FOR NOW....

Was there an issue with using the Carnival logos on that shirt? Usually, places like Cafepress won't allow anything that has a copyright to be printed. What site did you use to create and order your shirts?
