How gay friendly is Carnival?

well I have one friend who sails them exclusively. a LOT. so it can't be gay Unfriendly.

 

I know I have seen more than few Cross dressers/Trans types on Royal. usually having more fun than anyone else.... but since most gay people are not 'Just Jack' who knows how many I have come across in my travels.

My husband and I have travelled on several lines including Carnival and have not had an issue on any of them. We make no secret of being a couple and have never received anything less than great service and have not been on the receiving end of any homophobic behavior.

If you're looking for a good itinerary, check out the Mexican Riviera cruises out of Long Beach, California. (Other lines sail out of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles)

Puerto Vallarta is very gay friendly, lots of bars etc. It's Mardi Gras parade was a hoot. Mexico is considering legalizing same-sex marriage.
