Semi live quick update, Breakaway 5/22/2016 to Bermuda

Ship internet is sluggish, too late to edit, new time zone today, folks waking up late. Casino is packed full, we are still ahead on win/loss. Missed our M&G but went to BTST at 10:10 yesterday, lasted almost 2 hours, split into 2 groups of 13 people with security along, no bridge visit.

Crews are friendly and nice, saying hello as they are within 10 to 5 feet, as expected in their training and guidelines. Some are robotic, IMHO, but we do have some above & beyond. More later on after we get done with the cruise.

Going to read comments & questions offline, post fast & quick and return later. Doing all these on Nexus 5x for easiest pix update next to Internet Cafe.

Manhattan Dining at 8PM, just walk in, no wait for 4 of us. No dinner show, just live music & floor dancing, a few came wearing shorts to dinner.

Up to 8 Future Cruise Next Certificate can be purchased onboard, not 4. That's a lot of OBC.

Pier parking lot picture was pier 90 for GEM, that's why they are discounting the daily rate to $30 but not for BA.

Uptown Grill is open, not crowded but the buffet is pack full, we are avoiding it.

Menu unchanged daily for Savor & Taste daily.

Here is free Breakfast RS menu, very basic & Mini Bar prices. Going to play free lance photography while DW go to work ... in the casino, lol. Will check out liquor & duty free prices, DW got her cosmetics already with OBC, lol. Ship photographer are around but not always easy to find in MDR.

Hairdryer, it's pretty powerful.

Here's an interesting perk, our free 250 internet minutes is showing 1,000 MG data or 1 GB, used about 40 MB so far, online for almost 150 minutes, if true - it's good news as I will be live more often, although I will on land data tomorrow, hopefully. Stay tuned for more updates. Glad to share all we can find out so we all make the best use of our cruises.

It's 12:30 pm ship & BDA time, reception lobby & internet cafe is fairly empty, even with free Tango class given.

Weather was cloudy, more sun today & warmer at 74, seas are calm, hardly feel the ship moving on deck 5 midship.

There's a hunt for 3 missing luggage, notice in all cabin asking guests to help look & turn it in, 1 large 30 in suitcase, 1 20 in carry-on sized and 1 large rolling duffle bag. Always pack 1 change of clothes & essentials.

Here's internet prices on BA.

Internet cafe using Acer PC with Samsung 22" plus HD monitor, looks good enough for basic use at sea. My free plan is good too, 900+ MB remaining & regardless of minutes used, that can last all week w careful use.

I will know more later for sure, as this would be a nice free deal for us.

What an awesome on ship review, thanks so much!! Looking forward to the rest of your review and hope you have a great time on your cruise. I see you enjoy the casino, is there anyway you can snap a few pics of the machines, LOL We are going on the BA for our 25th~ July 10th and are so excited to go back to Bermuda! The food looks wonderful and let us know what you think of the shows including Second City! Thanks so much and Happy Cruising :D Also what do think of Spice H20 compared to the main pool, crowds, loud music etc.. I am reading a lot of different opinions and hope to hear what you think actually being on the ship.

Thank you for the absolutely excellent "almost live" review! I feel like I'm (almost) there with you!

Great pictures throughout - by the way, was anyone else a bit surprised that the guy cutting the steaks was not wearing gloves?

One question/request - please let me know if you see Beef Wellington on the menu at any venue. My DS had it five years ago on our last cruise and is hoping it will be available next month.

Keep up the GREAT work!!!

Cruise Next Special of 8 certificate is only available on the BA from cruise consultant. Pool deck is packed full, lines for rope course, open and for water slides. Pool is standing room only.

Uptown Grill is open for late lunch with a line, my favorite loungers are gone with more tables & chairs.

PPV movies are $9.95 each among choice of 34 online. TV channels are poor, BBC World News, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News, Special Feeds, Fav Shows, Fav Movies, Special Feeds, Engage & Sports 24.

OSH service & speed of food ordering vastly faster on this 3rd BA sailing for us, chicken wings are fine with sauce on side, Reuben sandwich was very good, portion size just right to us, and seafood gumbo soup was special of the day. Here's hotdog, nothing special - haven't seen the hotdog cart around in 3 days ?

On the chef cutting the steak without gloves, good question on sharp eyes, but nobody asked.

Battery is running low, going to get a quick charge & bring my USB battery pack when we head for dinner, soon. (More food & who can go hungry)

Ate late at Shanghai, fewer choices but it's still comfort food, and pretty busy. Only a 5 minute wait at 10 pm, easy from the slots area - yes, still smokey.

On washy washy, we always do our thing but vigilance isn't all there, more of the look & feel at the dining area & buffet with dispenser, and one crew at the buffet side open with spray bottle. Knock on wood, noro virus won't visit the ship.

We were on the Breakaway on the May 8th sailing and never saw the Uptown Grill open at all. Really wanted to try one of those burgers I heard about:(

I was also on the May 8th sailing and saw it open for lunch every day.. Went there for lunch multiple times. Burgers were great!!

Sea is calm, wavelets less than 5 ft. cruising at 11 knots. Still ahead with slots, calling it the night - tomorrow, sea legs meeting land again, a cool day ahead on temperature.

Goooood cloudy morning to all from the Wharf, we are docked AFT facing Hamilton, gangways clear about 15 minutes ago, 8:30 am local & ship time, 7:30 am in NY or 11:30 UTC.

Still live on ship's WiFi, used about 340+ minutes out of the free plan promotion, but about 725 MB of data remaining, and that's with all the pix uploaded via Tapatalk & some on FB. We are going to try the breakfast buffet shortly & switch to cellular data on T-Mobile, free and Fi Network @ $10 per GB with 3G speed. See our setup & gadgets, making good use of all 4 outlets.

Here's one of our small winning slots for last night.

Will answer more questions tonight. Thunderstorm this morning but plan to St. George's still on our own, taking the 11:30 ferry, I think.

I was wondering if they still had the hot dog carts around as people haven't mentioned them much lately. I know when we went on BA they were pretty elusive. I'd see one around the pool bar area mid-day and saw one late afternoon on 7 in the atrium area I think it was.

Looks like maybe some showers today but other days looking o.k.
