Which cruise would you pick?

We're looking to book a family cruise for sometime in late Nov/early Dec. It will be me, DH, our 2 boys (11 & 8) and possibly my in-laws. These are the ones we're considering:

 

1) Ecstasy overnight Bermuda (7 night)

 

2) Magic - Amber Cove, St Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk (7 night)

 

3) Sunshine - Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk (8 night)

 

 

We've been to Grand Turk once before, but other than that they are all new ports for us. We just got off of the Ecstasy and I wasn't overly impressed with the ship. It did not seem to be in as good condition as the Fantasy was before she left Charleston. The Bermuda cruise would be my last choice since we've been on that ship before and I'm not thrilled about being in 1 port for 2 nights. But my DH really thinks he wants to do that one (he likes the closeness of Charleston and he likes small ships, but I really think he'll hate the casino being closed for 3 days).

 

Anyway, out of those choices, which would you pick? Is your choice based on itinerary or ship? Also, if you've been to those ports or on those ships, would you mind sharing just a snipit of best/worst things about it? Thanks so much!!

The casino is no longer closed the whole time you are in port in Bermuda I think they open around 9:00 pm. I would choose the Magic for the ports.

I would pick the Magic out of those three. It's the newest ship and you will get 3 new ports.

Sunshine would be my first pick because it is longer and has excellent snorkeling stops. But your boys might be happier with Magic. The forts of San Juan are a treat.

If Bermuda isn't a big deal for you, I would choose the sunshine for the ports. But it's a close one with the Magic. In other words, it's not a strong vote for the sunshine.

 

But since I have no been to Bermuda, I'd pick that one.

Sunshine gets my vote for the ports.

I would choose between Sunshine and Magic. Assuming that price and departure ports don't tip in favor of one or the other I would pick Sunshine because the itinerary is better. Based upon what I have heard Magic might be a little better ship, but Sunshine has a lot of updates too. Sunshine is also a day longer so there is that.

With the kids, I'd say Magic.

 

Port-wise and length wise, the Sunshine would be better, but the ship is very crowded.

Sunshine because it takes you to the DEEP Southern Caribbean. Aruba and Bonaire are absolutely great port stops. :)

I would pick Magic. Been on her twice, love her. Would be on her in Oct but she moved. Also for the ports.
