This was absolutely BREATHTAKING....I think I just stood there with my mouth open in awe.

Awesome!!! I love the cone in the center. Do the fish swim around? I have seen pics of this cone in many different colors, does it constantly change?

I never did see what flavor that ice cream was? I guess pineapple

Hope you took lots of photos of the ship because I didn't. I'm about halfway through my review but warned readers early on not to expect ship pictures. I knew there'd be others who would take lots of photos.

I'm chiming in with the rest of the excited folks....couldn't wait for this to get started. Were you nervous about traveling out of the country at all? I feel like I wouldn't even know where to begin.

 

 

No I was not nervous. My friend Laura was nervous in the beginning but I think as we got closer to the cruise the excitement of everything took over.

Laura did most of the planning with the flights, car services, excursions, hotels.

Surprisingly we didn't have any issues. The biggest issue we faced was the language barrier

It's a bidet, basically a sink for your bum to get you extra clean :o lol. They're very common all over Europe. I'm loving your pictures so far! :)

That picture was definitely one of my favorites from the trip. Not sure what it is that I like so much about it.

Italian ice flavor-lemon?

 

 

 

 

 

Great pics...I'm doing a similar sailing in two weeks, though on a different cruise line..also flying Tap Portugal into lisbon. How did you find the airline company?

 

 

Nope Lemon wasn't the flavor but good guess.

I liked TAP Airlines. We had a much better experience on our departure flight from MIA to LIS on April 28 than on our return flight. The return flight we had awful flight attendants, the plane was quite warm, screaming kids, and I wasn't feeling the best. You are served meals onboard for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You receive a blanket and pillow on the long flights

My guess for the Ice cream flavor is BANANA :). Have been to Italy a few times and OMG the Ice cream is amazing!!
