dogs4fun Posted May 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2016 We would like to spend a couple of days in Berlin before our cruise. Our question is how to get to cruise port from Berlin by public transportation. We will have one case and two small carryons. Thank you I would take the train from Berlin to Rostock and then train to Warnemunde - the train station is right next to the cruise terminal. deadzone1003 Posted May 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Go to http://www.bahn.de. Click on the English version. Input Berlin, but click on Berlin Hbf as origin and Warnemunde as destination. Remember, train tickets can be purchased up to 92 days before ticket date. Regional train prices are fixed, but IC prices, the long distance trains, are cheaper when you purchase them about 90 days beforehand. Generally, the trains stop at Rostock where you switch over to the S-Bahn train to Warnemunde (your commuter train).
