Thanks for the review! I love, love, love that red dress. You look great! We had Chloe for our Miracle cruise last January and she was fabulous! I usually don't give a hoot about cruise directors, but she was so much fun and seemed so genuine that I'd actually pay attention when I'd hear her speak.

 

Looks like you had a good time on your cruise and I'm looking forward to more trip report.

Welcome to Grand Turk!

I had a beach day planned and was very excited to get in the water.

 

 

Margarittaville

 

 

 

 

 

I found a chair and got in the water. It was extremely hot. This puppy found a chair and dug a hole. He was hot too!

The water was beautiful, but it was really rocky. I ended up going to Margarittaville and ran into the W's. There were several twerking, running man, and dance contests taking place.

 

 

Running Man Challenge.

 

 

Last woman standing competition (musical chairs). This was fun. We earned a free shot after the last girl grabbed a guy and he did 30 pushups while she was on his back. Then Speedo Guy did 30 pushups with his wife on his back. It was awesome.

 

 

The DJ was very good. Lots of water splashing was taking place.

 

 

This is the push up guy on the far right. I was trying to sneak a pic. He clearly doesn't look buff, but he honestly did better than Speedo Guy. Both girls weighed about 100 lbs.

The DJ really liked this girl so he played a few of her favorite Soca jams.

 

 

 

The W's and I decided to walk around before we headed back to the ship. I had a really great time. I honestly tried to make it to Jack's Shack, but it was way too hot to keep walking. Maybe next time I will just walk in the water like I did on my way to Margarittaville.

We headed back to the ship and daughter W and I went to grab a burger from Off The Grill. Off The Grill has burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and french fries. They are open late night and back on ship times (5pm-6pm), unlike the other buffets.

 

Empty beach! Chairs are free in the section to the right. The section with the red umbrella charged and distributed wristbands.

I really enjoyed my time at Grand Turk.

 

 

I was stuffed from my burger, but I still went to dinner.

 

 

 

My new dinner mates were habitually late. Pet Peeve. My waiter Oscar began taking my order without them. He thanked me for being on time. Oscar said that he was often behind for late dining because people would come late for early dining. There were many stragglers; please don't be that person. I lined up outside every evening at 6pm. Shoutout to Oscar for having my wine and coke with no ice every night. I didn't even have to ask.

The Bride (Not sure where the groom was, lol). Her dress was beautiful. They allowed our table to enjoy some cake because they had too much. I would so get married on a cruise.

I'm loving your review. We sail on the Splendor July 2. I couldn't help but notice in your photos (great photos, by the way) that you had tablecloths in the dining room both evenings so far. I thought they got rid of those. Did you have them every night?

It truly was easy and relaxing. The inside was huge. This was the first time I almost fell in between the beds. I sleep in the middle at home. Its hard to do that on a cruise, but i have heard they offer mattress pads.
