We have a balcony on the upper deck on the Triumph next week. Are the balconies mostly private, or can you see your neighbors on both sides?

You have to want to see your neighbors, it's pretty private. You mostly see them if you're both hanging over the rail at the same time.

If you stand right by the divider and the railing, you can look around them. Also you can hear every conversation from either side.

When you are sitting in the chairs you can also see them reflected in the glass portion of the railing at times. Not always a pretty site believe me. :eek::D

I'll second that. Years ago I remember the neighbor thought it was private when he went out to smoke his cigar............in the nude.

The balconies are "private" in the sense that you don't "share" with others! No balcony is completely private from view or hearing....
