Would also love to know if Putra is on board or coming back on board, we're sailing 1st 2 weeks in September.

Finally can you check if Vasant and May are in the top sail lounge, or if they'll be back.

We asked about Putra as well (we're sailing in 2 weeks). LOVE him! My travel buddy is friends with Vasant on social media and he is currently not on board and they aren't doing any new contracts at the moment. That is sad because she had wonderful things to say about him and I would've loved to have met him! :(

 

I hear Alex, in the Top Sail bar, is awesome. Looking forward to meeting him :)

Hi, you may be able to help me, I am taking my 2x children with me aged: 16 and 18 in the Yacht club on Divina and I need to know if they will be allowed in the Topsail bar with the adults!

Putra was our first ever butler in the YC and by far the best, he was fabulous. We've also had Carlos who was great, and lastly Fredrico who wasn't really that great. I knew Vasant wasn't onboard at the moment, but was hoping he might be back. He's such a character, another fabulous butler. You'll have a fab time I'm sure, I know I can't wait :D

DH and I, along with 4 other family members will be on the same sailing and we too have a Fantastica cabins. We are on Deck 11. What Deck are you on? This is going to our first time as well on MSC and we are looking forward to it. There is a roll call for this cruise already started, I am going to paste the link to it here so you can come on over and join it. Not very active at present, I would assume it will pick up as the cruise nears.

Quick review of the holiday inn port of Miami. This place gets great reviews on trip advisor but I wasn't all that impressed. The pool area is small and crowded, the wifi is terrible, windows were filthy. Rumor has it this property has been sold and i believe it. Nevertheless, we choose it for location and it did not disappoint. Directly across the street from Bayside which is always fun on a Friday evening. I stayed at YVE last March and would recommend that over the holiday inn. At YVE the rooms are smaller, no pool, but they do have free well drinks for ladies during happy hour. The plan was to go back there last night, but we were enjoying our mojitos along the waterfront too much. Intercontinental is still my favorite pre cruise hotel in Miami with the Marriott a close second but both price significantly higher so it depends what you are looking for. If you want Location and least expensive in the heart of Miami, choose YVE or Holiday Inn.

Thanks for the holiday inn versus Yve review I was going to ask you that re a Miami night in November. We stayed at the Yve before our April cruise and enjoyed it but were considering the HI!

Bermuda,,check out the Epic Hotel next time you're in Miami. Unlike the Intercontinental,,The Epic has city view or bay view balcony rooms and it's a short distance to Bayside and the POM:

I was wondering, if you wander from YC to the Muse for breakfast, Radio mentioned a chef breakfast station set up on the pool deck. I would be interested to know what the offerings were. Maybe a menu shot if they have it and if it's not an inconvenience.

Sitting in the yacht club concierge waiting for the ship to board. Lines were painless with Tristen as our butler escort. They are serving sparkling water, champaign, or orange juice (ironically no coffee). There is also a tray of cookies and tea biscuits.

We've only had breakfast in Le'Muse a handful of times,,,we really enjoyed having breakfast up at the One Bar and Pool in the mornings,,plus that's where the bartenders kept my Bloody Mary Mix!!!:eek:

Of course any type of coffee drink you can imagine,,scrambled eggs,,sausage, bacon,breads, meats, cheeses, and my personal favorite,,the triangular hash browns!!! Sooooooo Good!!!:D

We are sitting in LeMuse with first of many mojitos. The maitre de is Jackamo and is amazing! He knew us by name. We met Putra already too :). There was a slight debacle boarding. They called us to board at 11:30, but the scanner wasn't working so we all waited on the gangway with the alarm blaring for nearly 30 minutes. Would have been fine except the alarm which was really loud in that enclosed space. If I'm keeping score, boarding non-yacht club last March was actually a faster process, but not nearly as personal.
