The Cirque show is a paid event and is by definition a reservation. I'd suggest making them on "at sea" days, if possible so you don't have to worry about getting pack in time from Bermuda. Gershep Posted June 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Thankyou, are they the only shows on,never cruised with N/C/L But on other ships there is differant shows every night ,is that not so on the breakaway? The two big shows are Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor. There are only a couple of performances per week, not every night. As mentioned, you will need reservations. On other nights there is usually a Crew Show, maybe a magician or a Broadway Singer. These shows are usually only for one night, two shows and there are no reservations. If you go 1/2 hour before the show you will have no problem getting in.
Rare BirdTravels Posted June 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Hi can anyone tell me about the shows on Breakaway,Do you have to book or can you just get a seat?We are on the Breakaway early oct going Bermuda, are the shows always the same,Any advice or info would be most appreciated.Thankyou For the main theater shows, Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor, you should get reservations. They show a couple of nights each (two shows a night) in the main theater. Without reservations, you can go standby. If the show is sold out, they will let you into the theater 10 minutes before the show time and you can take any open seat. Reservations allow you to get the best seating. Once on board, you can also book a comedy show in the Headliners club. Early shows are family oriented. Late shows are adult oriented. Comedy shows are also available on a stand-by basis,,, we try to go every night. There is a paid Cirque dinner show and a lunch show available for an additional charge (and can be booked on board). Booking shows/dinners/shore excursions onboard is easy. Go to any touch screen in the public areas to book a show ticket. Or use your stateroom TV (less easy). or the Iconcierge app on your phone. Never wait in line for the boxoffice.

bookmama22 Posted June 30, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2016 You cannot reserve Second City in advance so you will need to go to the Box Office on the first night. Our experience was that the kiosks did not work. We were only able to get Second City once. Best entertainment venue on the ship is Fat Cats Jazz & Blues Club with Charlie Love... they are great! meatball_nyc Posted June 30, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Go to Fat Cats. Best. Music. Ever. Trust me. Have a great cruise! P.S. We walked into Second City with no wait and found seating five minutes to show time. Edited June 30, 2016 by meatball_nyc

Seawitch Posted July 1, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 1, 2016 Is the Second City comedy show a different show each night?
bookmama22 Posted July 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 2, 2016 Some nights there are 3 shows, some nights 2. The 7 PM show is improv and family friendly. That was the only one we were able to get reservations for so we did that before dinner. The 9 PM is sketch comedy and so is the 11 PM which is adults only.
