Junior Suite access to Sun Deck?

Recommended Posts

I'm curious how this will be now that those in JS have the benefit of dining in CK for dinner? Lots of JS cabins and not all sailing in them are D/D+.

I don't think there are as many (percentage wise anyway) JS cabins on the Oasis

as there are on ships like Radiance series (percentage wise).

My Oasis cruise 1/22 sold out of JS cabins a long time ago. Plenty of GS and

above available.

And yes, one of the rare and odd D+ in a JS here. ;)

And no, Radiance series does not have CK or an SL.

At least I will still be able to transfer back and forth on Radiance in

a few weeks, going from CL to DL looking for a coffee machine

that works! ;)

Not to further keep this discussion from the topic of the sun deck, but how does a JS guest make dinner reservations at CK? I can see we can make reservations online beforehand on sky class reservations but on our one sea class I can't see the option. I'm supposing we just call or visit once onboard? Thanks for the help :)

That's what I am going to do. I also wait until I board to make specialty

restaurant reservations, except for MTD, which I do online in advance.

Pretty sure Freedom and Oasis have just about the same amount of JS's, but yes the percentage of total is a lot heavier on Freedom. Not sure about the smaller ships.

JS sell out because they are a better value most likely. GS and OS seem to only sell early on the TA's.

In our case, pre suite class, we had an invite from the CK Maitre' D to contact them for reservations. They provided the direct phone line. FWIW, I plan on securing all our reservations for our Fall 2017 block when we board in September. Hopefully I can book them all in advance. I may have to ask Mr Franklin for help. ;) But we are talking about 9 voyages, upwards of 50 dinners.

Wow that's great, thanks John! We're excited for our visit there next week!

Thanks John. I think it is because Oasis class looks so huge with so many cabins

on each deck, that it makes the JS cabins look minimal.

When I look at Radiance or Vision class, seems like whole decks full of JS cabins.

One of those "optical illusions" I guess. ;)

How about all the JS's on Her Majesty

We have one in January, never had one on Monarch or Sovereign.

I think all but one time on Monarch (when there were none available) we

had JS cabins. I love my balcony, and as you know same thing on Majesty,

have to go at least JS to get one.
