Watch Seven Seas Explorer's Christening Live at 3pm

Recommended Posts

DeepFreeze63, Ida noticed Mr. Bocelli looked very thin as well. His singing was masterful and just mesmerizing (as usual) to listen too. We also hope Mr. Bocelli's health is OK (hopefully he is just on a fitness/meal plan)

Enjoyed the live streaming (bravo/props go to Regent for the detailed planning that made this streaming work for most of us). Noted that Princess Charlene after her very brief but polite remarks, headed off stage w/o cutting the Christening ribbon--fortunately FDR (Frank Del Rio) gently steered her back to do the formal ribbon cutting.

I enjoyed watching the ceremony. For those of us who were not invited it was nice of Regent to stream the video. I didn't see anything unprofessional about it. West, I noticed how the princess was ready to leave and FDR showed her the ribbon to be cut. All in all I thought it was well done. Now I'm looking forward to our Explorer cruise in November.

And then after the bottle broke, the orchestra played the theme song from The Bad News Bears!

Does anyone know if there is a way to see the christening video? I looked on youtube but couldn't find anything. I got about half way thru it, but didn't get to hear Andre sing and would like to see that.....

I'll update this thread with where to find the video as soon as it is available. We are trying to get that done by tomorrow, but it might be next week. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks so much for your response. I'll keep watching, but will be patient!

Linda, they are awaiting approval from the Palace and from Mr. Bocelli's "people". Once approval is obtained, it will be available.

I did not think it was unprofessional but, obviously, this was not a television program that was rehearsed over and over. The ceremony was held right next to the ship. The stage, etc. was set up only hours before the event began.
