Rare cgolf1 Posted July 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Next year will be our first RCCL cruise and we will be on the Freedom. We have been seeing some threads on menu changes and tried to research the menus for the Freedom. The most current we could find was 2012. Even without a major overhaul I am guessing the current menus are quite different. So if anyone has more recent info we would appreciate if you shared. Clarea Posted July 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) As far as I've read from recent posts and reviews, this fleetwide menu is still being used: http://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/download-press-kit/7/ Edited July 17, 2016 by clarea

bc cruiser Posted August 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Last September we were on FOS and the menu's had changed a little. Lobster is no longer free, it is a separate charge. I am thinking it was around $20.00. I am sailing on her again September 4-11-2016, so will post after cruise if anyone needs more info!

Lobster tail is still offered for no extra charge on the second formal night. The extra cost whole lobster is available all nights.
bc cruiser Posted August 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2016 When we sailed last September on FOS, we never had lobster on any of the 7 nights . It was only offered for some where near $20.00 for a whole lobster, never free for even a tail like we had before. . I hope they have them back on menu, if not, will have to buy the whole one . It can be easily missed as the dish with the lobster tail is called the Fishermans platter. As posted above it is part of the Jasmine menu on the second formal night. rrs731 Posted August 30, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Do they let you order things that are not on that nights menu? For example my husband loves French onion soup but I only see it on the last night...is he able to order it nights that it is not on the menu specifically? Works for me, but it is a large PDF file so maybe the problem is due to the size?
