ms Eurodam Interior J or I

Hello,

After looking back and forward between dates, we cancelled our Adventure of the Seas sailing from May and moved to the Eurodam in April. We are getting a great deal and I love the ports. I booked a "larger interior room" on the Main Deck, but it's a category J. I have an option to upgrade to the the "larger interior room" on the Upper Verandah Deck for $20 more total. Does anyone know if these rooms are any bigger? I'm trying to get the most room for the $ and I certainly don't want to get less space for more money.

I only read one post that said J was bigger than I, but I really want multiple opinions.

Thanks!

Some rave about the I cabins, but not all I cabins are created equal. I looked at some of the larger ones, and though configured differently, I didn't think they were as large as the J/K cabins on Main deck. EM

We have had the J cabins on Main Deck of Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam and love them. I like the configuration...square with L shape couch. Quiet and convenient.

I've stayed in the J-cabins on Main Deck on all the Signature and Vista ships, any number of times. I love them, and their size. I have never had a problem with noise down there, although some cabins on the port side can hear the noise from the Queens Lounge. Starboard side is fine, in my experience. Port side under the Casino was quiet.

There are some I-cabins on an upper deck (can't remember which ones; not all, I do know that) which are slightly larger, but we are talking marginally larger. A couple of square feet, maybe? Not enough to make a switch over, IMO.

Now, if you like the location better for some other reason, then it would be worth $20.

As I understand it, the square inside cabins on the main deck are large and the I cabins on the navigation deck near the front elevator are large.... You will need to look at the deck plans closely. I think the other inside cabins range from small to tiny.
