Connecting balcony suite on Anthem

I have booked balcony room 12166 and connecting balcony room 12164 for my teenagers. Does anyone know if the balcony divider can be removed so they too can be connected for a larger balcony. Thanks for any help.

Balcony dividers can be opened, with the approval of ship's management.

I don't know if every single balcony divider can be opened. However, I've read that if two adjacent staterooms are in different fire zones, the Captain may not allow the divider to be opened.

And the divider is not "removed". It slides open. Or swings open. But it stays there. :)

We are just off the Anthem. We had four balcony rooms in a row and all dividers were open when we opened the door. Our room steward was on the ball and saw that all last names were the same! He already had the adjoining door between our room and our daughter's opened. Although with her two little ones wandering in and out, don't know if this was a good thing!!!!!!

Just ask your cabin steward when you board, they will get the key and slide it open. It only opens 50% so there is some of the divider left. We do this every cruise we can, not all ships are possible but anthem is. Enjoy!
