If RCI truly terminated the contract with the company that used to fulfill these tag orders, why in the world would that company keep sending them?

I believe the perk of being able to get mailed tags is gone. There may be some glitches in the system that still allow some random sailings to have tags mailed, but by and large mailed tags are gone.

 

You could put your downloaded paper tags in tag holders like these:

You could download the paper tags, fold them as directed, and staple them around your bag handles.

 

You could spend $35 on paper documents and get the self-adhesive tags that way.

I've had the tags emailed to me by my travel agent, but I don't know if Royal will email the tags to people. I just download them from the online check-in page.

Wow thanks for the cruise tags from Amazon.

I have the old cruise critic ones and I tape the top so the tag doesn't fall out and it attaches with stretch rubber. The rubber is starting to break down.
