We just booked a cruise for November. I was wondering if I got the Celebrity Visa Card would I be able to get and use the OBC on the November cruise?

You should have enough time. Once the points are posted to your account you can apply for the OBC. That should be after your first credit card statement, probably about six weeks after you apply for the card.

We had tons of charges on there - mainly with air and celebrity from this past spring transatlantic....and the credit maxed out at $300.00. We are told this is ONLY available to us in the form of cruisefare credit and not OBC.

My experience it different as I've used points for OBC on multiple occasions. I just checked online and OBC is still listed as an option.

Did Bank of America tell you that or did someone at Celebrity say it, Jromebound? Did you try to redeem them on the phone or on the website?

Yesterday we redeemed points from our Celebrity VISA to purchase OBC on both legs of an upcoming B2B.

Yep finally figured it out - we got $300 off cruisefare and another $250 in OBC from past purchases on the card......thanks.
