6 ships in port - EEEK ! (Nassau)

We are going to be in Nassau in just over 2 weeks, with a total of 6 ships in port or +15,000 peeps !!! Think its gonna be crowded!

Any suggestions for quick easy access beach, beautiful water, clean area (or cab ride to the place) that won't cost an arm and a leg to get in. Not gonna do Atlantis with that many ships in port!!

Melia is $35 for a day pass, 15 minute taxi or bus ride away. Very nice beach and pools.

10 or 15 minute walk from dock to free public beach- Junkanoo beach. It is past the British Colonial hotel. They have good and reasonable facilities there.

do you get day pass at the resort or pre book it?

There have been 7 ships every time we've been there, off peak times. At Melia, we just took a cab there.

Even more reason to stay on the ship. :D We've been lucky. On our last cruise, we were playing tag with the Magic and they were the only 2 ships in port for Nassau and Freeport.

It might not be that bad. There will really only be 5 ships since Enchantment of the Seas will be leaving at 8 AM. And none of the ships are Allure or Oasis. :)
