I'm about to go on the Triumph on Sept.26. First time for the American Table menu.

What did you like the best? What was the worst?

Odd question, but does Beef Wellington happen to be served any night? I've never had it and as a viewer of Hell's Kitchen (don't judge me! LOL), whenever they've made it, it looks delish. They had it one night on the NCL Breakaway, but I wasn't in the MDR that night.

I know Beef Wellington is on the 8-day American Table menu, but I'm not sure about the 7-day (or 5-day, etc.).

I really liked the Mahi Mahi that was served on the first night.

One night on the port of call section there was these beef skewers that were EXCELLENT. But you won't see them on the menu. Triumph goes to Mexico and when I saw them on the menu we were sailing southern Caribbean

I'm a little nervous. I just found out the Valor is going to get the American Table menus for our sailing in a month. I'm allergic to seafood. Looking at the menus on Zydeco's site, it looks like it's heavy on seafood. One day out of seven appetizers, five had seafood. I hope I'm not stuck with grilled chicken every day. :(

I am about to try the American Table menu for the first time next month. I am sure you probably already know, but please advise Carnival before your cruise and again when you board/go to dining room, and make sure they know you are allergic to seafood. I think they have a very good rep for working with food allergies and sensitivities. Enjoy the Valor!

I do not eat seafood and had the american table menu last year on the freedom.

I was able to find something every night that I liked. I only ordered the grilled chicken once.

I'm am a pretty picky eater but I really enjoyed dinner every night.

I'm nervous about the menu.

I just really had my favorites with the old menu and I have to admit, I don't want to change!

However, I'm going to have a positive attitude and I'm sure I'll find something that I can fall in love with.

I second the cornmeal crusted chicken. I didn't order it but a tablemate did and the rest of us regretted not making the same choice. I love bitter and blanc, but alas it is only on 8 day cruises now, but I had the Banana Bread Pudding - it was really a cake with that delicious creme anglaise "gravy" to pour over the warm cake - it was a great substitute.
