We will be on the Solstices from8/26-9/2we have done many cruises but this is the first on Celebrity and I just had a few quick questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1- is there still a place to get crepes on this ship ( my husband is a big fan)

2- My daughter decided she did not want to go on one of the excursions in port with us but she would want to hang on the ship or walk a bit around port ect.. She is 16 will celebrity let her on and off the ship alone if she wants to go get lunch at port or look at the shops around port? ( Some past cruises allow this some do not)

3- Do they still have the VIP Pass for the kids club? I read some place that you can pay a fee for your kid to be able to spend more time in the club and such

4- We were in a celebrity suite when we first booked, but moved to the sky suite when they receive the same perks pretty much as the other suites (it saved money and gave us a better balcony in the end)In all our past cruises that we have had a higher category room the concierge would contact us before the cruise is this something that celebrity does?

Thank you so much for any help you can provide!

1. The Crepe restaurant is gone, they are not Sushi on Five.

2. Your daughter will not be allowed off the ship without parents. Below is a list of age polices, under ports of call it states under 18 must be accompanied by parents.

3. Not sure about the pass, my kids used to sail but are not in their 30s.

4. Don't believe Sky suites have that perk but not absolutely sure.

No worries about not getting concierge call ahead of time. Just pop into Michael's Club soon after your get on board and mention your desires/concerns to her/him. No problem. Or, there *is* a phone number you can call the stateside concierge for suites who can contact the ship concierge who can contact you. At the very least, you can do an email, particularly if there's something pertinent that needs to be done for you.

Have a great cruise.

If she wants to be sure she can get off the ship, she should get off with you when you do.

Then she can walk around the port or whatever, and should have no problem getting back on the ship whenever she wants.

But whether or not you want her wandering around the port area on her own is another matter.

Some teenagers are much more mature, responsible and worldly than others at the same age, and some ports are safer than others.

Returning to the ship whenever she likes should be no problem.

She should be sure to take her seapass card and a photo ID with her.

(At some ports, they ask to see a photo ID to get back on the ship, and at other ports they don't.)

That should not be a problem as long as you are aware that a sky suite is not really a suite, but only one room.

So everyone sleeps in the same room.

Some families are fine with doing that, but others who are accustomed to having a celebrity suite or above, (or even a family veranda with separate bedroom and living room) could find it disappointing.

On the other hand, someone who is accustomed to stuffing an entire family into an inside cabin would be delighted with a sky suite.

It is all relative. :D
