WiFi Availability in SE Asian Ports

Does anyone have experience with WiFi availability in the following SE Asian ports?

 

Kota Kinabalu

Nha Trang

Phu My

Laem Chabang

Ko Samui

In both Ko Samui and Nha Trang we had lunch at local restaurants that offered free WiFi. Don't ask me what the restaurants were called though.

Our experience in SE Asia is that wifi is more available than in NA or Europe.

 

Our guide in Vietnam told us last MArch that any business that does not provide it will not stay in business. In three winters of travel in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia we have never had an issue accessing wifi. Even in some of the small back of beyond places that we have visited.
