( ie......I ordered the beverage package, and now I want to cancel it, but RCCL won't let me). You are being quite vague about your issue. spookwife Posted September 5, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 5, 2016 they literally just changed the packages. what used to be an option yesterday is no longer an option today. furthermore any sales on pre purchasing also have end dates, or are limited to certain sailings. so unless you get specific, chances are no one can help you. you can always buy packages once on board. (Eg Select package) If you've tried to purchase a discontinued package this may be why you 'cannot' buy it and not sure anyone at resolutions can help other than explain the new offerings. Anyway I have no answer as I find the resolution department essentially useless. Having worked in a resolution department for many years, niceness helps as does persistence. They stated package will change as of tomorrow but that I should be able to purchase what I want to today. Since they have no idea why I can't due to "the system being down" I would just have to take what is offered as of tomorrow. She stayed others have purchased today but I could not and there was nothing she could do. Does not make sense to me. I wanted to upgrade my select package which they would not do. You should be able to buy it on the phone if the crappy website won't work. Support staff stated I should be able to purchase but for some unknown reason I can't and they stated there is nothing I nor they can due other than wait for new rates/packages tomorrow.
