Booking Onboard - Explore 4 Question

So read that you get additional OBC when booking onboard. Are the prices/promotions the same as on their website or do they have better deals?

Does anyone know traditionally how long E4 lasts? Going in early Nov. will there be new promo by then?

According to HAL's website, Explore4 ends Nov. 18, 2016.

As to prices, I have always found the to be the same (perhaps others have had better luck?). Same for promotions, except that you get some OBC when booking onboard - generally $25 to $100 per person, depending on cruise and cabin.

Prices were the same - we booked two cruises while onboard some 10 days ago - but we got double onboard credit and a reduced deposit . We bought 2 FCCs for each cruise and that was it - if we have to cancel ( of if HAL cancels ="Oosterdam"!!!!) the FCCs can be used again for a future cruise.

I've never found a huge advantage to booking on board. Doesn't mean it won't happen, just means it hasn't so far ;)

The double on board credit is available with the welcome back code and and FCD once you get home.

So, we just stay stocked on FCD's and usually book when we are home and have the time and it's convenient ;)
