Valley Boy Posted September 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2016 We are Emeral members on Royal and would like to know how we can transfer this when we do our first cruise on Celebrity.
oneputt18 Posted September 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Call Celebrity Captains Club 1.800.760.0654 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2016 You won't be transferring your points, but Captain's Club will give you a courtesy enrollment, matching status. You will still have 0 Captain's Club points, and your cruise on Celebrity will not add to your C & A status.
oneputt18 Posted September 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2016 To add, you will be "select" on Celebrity. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
MPaugh Posted September 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Celebrity was merged with Royal in 1997. You would think they would have combined the loyalty clubs by now. Apparently they have their reasons for not doing so. We are Diamond on RCL and will be getting 80 points on Celebrity in October, but they won't show up in my C&A account Bummer. Landl cruiser Posted September 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) Celebrity was merged with Royal in 1997. You would think they would have combined the loyalty clubs by now. Apparently they have their reasons for not doing so. We are Diamond on RCL and will be getting 80 points on Celebrity in October, but they won't show up in my C&A account Bummer. If you are Diamond on RCL, you will be Elite on Celebrity. They do not merge points, they only recognize status. Captains Club and Crown and Anchor Society are two separate programs. twincheryl Posted September 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2016 I am Emerald as well. My "status" with Royal Caribbean showed up on my booking without having to do anything. All of a sudden it showed as Select.

peteukmcr Posted September 11, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 11, 2016 You will be disappointed with X over RCL.Interested too as to why you think the op will be disappointed with Celebrity over RCI. I have 2 MSC, 2 Celebrity and 1 P&O upcoming sailings, no RCI after 12 years sailing exclusively with them. We weren't disappointed with Celebrity, it was the other way around with us. I'm also surprised at the remark that the op will be disappointed! Celebrity is "a level above" IMHO than Royal. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with Royal, I still sail on their ships, it's just a different experience! Royal has the wall (to climb) for example. Celebrity is "classier". There are many things to do on board also. DH and I prefer Celebrity but we are foodies and like the service and attentiveness we've gotten on Celebrity. Royal Caribbean has amazing customer service and friendliness too.
