Pricing of excursions in advance vs on board

Sailing Thanksgiving week on Jade out of NCL. Would it be worthwhile to book in advance - will prices be likely higher on board? We have $300 in OBC I want to use, but want to make sure our excursions don't sell out. Also considering the spa pass.

The shore ex will cost the same on the ship. Need to book quickly once you embark because they do sell out.

One time the price did change by $5. Wasn't too bad since we we re able to use OBC. The only issue is the excursion might be sold out and then you are stuck.

As we have paid in CAD in the past and the on board price is in USD can't really help there.

 

However the second parts to the answers is very, very true. I have seen very long queues at the shorex desk, even when they have had 4 people working, on the first and second days of the cruise as people try to book.

The other problem is that on board booking can take a long time as people often want to discuss which shorex to take, not only with the staff but with their group!! This is especially true for those whose first language is not English and the "back & forth" between the booker and shorex staff ahs to be translated.
