Guarentee Cabins

When does Royal Caribbean usually issue the guarentee cabins? A few years ago they did it much faster, usually a few days after the reservation was made. The sailing is in Mid October.

Depends on the sailing and how it is selling. There are no set rules.

It can be anywhere from final payment to boarding. However, our experience has been 3-4 weeks prior to sailing. But there is no set time, so don't be concerned.

It can actually be any time from the moment that you book until you arrive at the pier.

We booked balcony guarantees for our Nov 27 and Dec 4 cruises. They assigned our cabin for Nov 27 last week and just gave our Dec 4 cabin today.

Happy with them got an E3 on deck 7 for the Nov leg and got a D3 on deck 6 for the Dec leg.

We booked a guarantee balcony on Sept 3 2016 for Anthem cruise week of March 12 2017 and were surprised that We already have a cabin room assigned (D3 category) on Sept 7. We booked via a TA and have not made final payment yet.

We have always received our stateroom assignments within 24 hours.

Booked X GTY last week, got an assignment within an hour. Rebooked X GTY on Monday, got an assignment the next day. Sailing is 89 days away, final payment 14 days.

We booked in March for December, we got our cabin mid-April.
