Cruisin' Chick Posted September 16, 2016 #26 Share Posted September 16, 2016 Here are the dates. but it doesn't mention the TV coverage so not sure if all of the broadcast networks/cable news networks will show each one (can't remember from four years ago) or not. but if at least CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are showing it, you should be able to view it on your cabin tv. Personally I would hope MUTS would be showing a movie instead so that those not interested or from other countries can enjoy a politics-free evening. sfaaa Posted September 16, 2016 #29 Share Posted September 16, 2016 This will be the most colorful and unpredictable debate of this century and likely the best entertainment event during the cruise. I say bring it on.
napunani Posted September 17, 2016 #30 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I sure hope not. There has to be some place on this planet that we can get away from this political race. Maybe Antarctica. DON OMG - can't agree more and so happy we'll be sailing until days prior to the election!
Freespir8 Posted September 17, 2016 #31 Share Posted September 17, 2016 For us, one of the more exciting aspects of taking a late October cruise. We would be missing the final weeks of commercials and unavoidably annoying media coverage surrounding the election. :p Yep! Love being gone during this time. We come back just in time for it all to over. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
missymerv Posted September 17, 2016 #32 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I for one will be attempting to avoid the traffic nightmare expected in the area of Hofstra University so I would definately prefer cruising :D
