MSC transfer prices

MSC has informed me that their round trip transfer fee from airport to port is $74.00 per person. That is $37.00 each way. I have been checking other sites and this appears to be pretty good. Has anyone used MSC for transfers?

That seems high if you are talking about Miami International. My husband and I stayed at the Homewood Suites which is directly across from the airport and it cost us about $35 for a taxi.

That seems high if you are talking about Miami International. My husband and I stayed at the Homewood Suites which is directly across from the airport and it cost us about $35 for a taxi.

 

They have vans that take you for$10pp.

We took a shuttle to the airport from the hotel (Homewood Suites) and it was $12 each one way. We took the taxi back because we didn't want to wait for the shuttle. Homewood Suites is directly across from Miami International Airport and they allow you to park your car for free for the duration of your cruise. I save my Hilton Honors points all year and use them to book the hotel room!!

Rome airport

Rome is very far port to airport. I did Royal Caribbean last year and it was $75. I found a shared shuttle downtown Rome to port for about $60 for one (adding more people reduced the cost per person though). That price looks very good!!

That seems like a very attractive price for a ship's shuttle. We paid €75 one way for 2 of us for a private (shared) shuttle.

I've gone from Rome to Civitavecchia with both MSC and Costa and for both the Italian lines, the transfer costs were an absolute bargain compared to the US cruise lines.
