Casino BB offer?

Just booked my first BB offer for the Glory

When I checked my cruise planner it shows the whole cost of the cruise.

My total cost with upgrade was $498.50 and that's what I paid

It says I owe $1.50 for the deposit by Oct 17

and balance due of $1628 due by January.

Is this normal?

Since I just booked 20 minutes ago does it take a little while to fix itself?

Any BB experts that could help?

Since the casino is paying for your stateroom ( before upgrade), there will be a charge first and then a credit in a couple days.

hi just wondering what your code is? Mine is pmb and they did not offer this sailing. Is yours the same or is it pmi? Just checking to see if this one has just come available...thanks

I had a PMI

My cut off was 3-23.

The Glory on March 18 was our 4 choice.

I had looked before I called and had 7 choices

I know there was no Magic cruises in march available

How did you book?

If you called and booked with your pvp, there is no adjustment...it is booked under the proper code and shows the correct amount.

Just curious...

I called carnival's promotion dept.

It fixed it self this morning.

Under all the cost areas it says (agreed) now

I called about the march 18 cruise and was told it was closed . I called Monday. I also was told by the casino dept. there is no official list for pmi, that cruises can be added anytime. So, unfortuneately , i have not been checking as often as i should because i was told that the list is updated on thurs. I am glad I spoke with the lady in the casino dept. She helped me understand exactly what happens as far as the promotions go. She was very helpful.

No bounceback for me... I tried again yesterday... only two available... a five day from Jacksonville with two bahama ports mon to sat and an 8 day on Conquest. 8 day are hard to do because of pet care while I am gone... and only upgrades available..and airfare that is normally around 200-300 for this trip, was running 500... not paying that much airfare on a nonrefundable fare... so I missed my cutoff date which was yesterday. Oh well, easy come.. easy go I guess... this was my first bb offer and i was so excited to get one.

Buckeye..Thank you for the update. So sorry and bummed you're weren't able to snag something that worked for you. I know you were so excited to get your offer. I'm sure you will get another one in the future. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

So this is what happened with us. This was our 3rd bounceback offer. Since we were never able to utilize the first two, I was pretty determined to use this one. We also found the casino reps to be the most informed and helpful. I do wish they could find a way to make it easier...a list of some sort or a way for us to do a search on the computer. One casino rep I spoke with said they are aware there are issues and that they are working on it. We're hoping it gets easier in the future.

After calling and Calling and CALLING to check availability, a 4 day Ensenada opened up that worked for us. It's right before our 7 day Mexico that we already had booked in our first Vista Suite. My husband was very hesitant to give up the Vista Suite on the 7 day as we did get a pretty good deal by booking early and getting a discount from the casino.

We couldn't find any offers with the b.b. for the Miracle at all. The best offers..longer cruises..all involved flying east for us. So, like you, once we figured in the cost of the flights and hassle of flying, it didn't justify cancelling our Miracle cruise as most all the offers were for upgraded cabins...mostly Grand Suites. We went back and forth on the Grand Suite option, but in the end the Vista Suite we had already booked won out.

Once the 4 day Ensenada date that worked for us opened up, I snagged it as I was so tired of calling. I figured at least we finally get to use our b.b. offer. If we lived on the east coast it would have been easier and cheaper, but as I mentioned, the interiors were pretty much gone.

We were able to book an interior on the Inspiration, paying taxes/port fees only. We can drive to Long Beach so no flight. Also, since we are already driving down for the 7 day this seemed like the easiest and least costly option.

So we will be doing the 4 day Ensenada interior cabin for our b.b., disembark on a Friday, stay at a hotel for one night..hopefully the Queen Mary :), then embark on Saturday for our 7 day on the Miracle.
