Superbowl cruise

Booked to cruise on Freedom this February. I know the ship shows the game probably everywhere - but anyone who has cruised during SB experience any special gatherings, etc.?

 

Game day is a sea day - perfect timing!

Our experience has been that they show the game on the pool big screen and have typical munchies available, such as hot dogs, chips, nachos, etc. If the weather is inclement, they use Studio B.

On our cruises, the game was shown at the Pool, and also the Theater, with game day snacks at both places. Game was also shown on cabin TVs.

I've seen it in the theater with a buffet of nachos and hot dogs set up at the back.

We've been on two Super Bowl cruises so far no better place to watch the big game :D They will have various snacks and bbq type stuff by the pool deck.

Being from Fargo, I'm expecting to see our Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles there! :)

I'm about to book on the Liberty out of Galveston on Feb 5, and my son pointed out it's Superbowl Sunday, but if they make it a party like it sounds here we'll book it. He's a Chiefs fan and probably won't mater except for the party. The cruise is a wedding gift from us to them so he shouldn't complain!
