Holland America Bans Smoking on Cabin Balconies

Recommended Posts

AU-based Maasdam and Noordam will be banning smoking on all balconies this summer. I think that's the last of the major cruise lines to bring in this rule?

Good, I will consider sailing on HAL now, although I would prefer if they banned it from the Casino as well, that would be better.

Just a small step for HAL - the ban is in line with Aus laws if you read the ships involved. Needs to go company wide to be truly newsworthy don't you think?

I agree and it will, perhaps you missed the bit in the article where it said "Holland America's no-smoking-on-balconies ban will roll out fleetwide over five months on a staggered schedule:" and then listed them all and when it would be rolled out.
